57 minutes between when our bus arrived at Penrith and when our train
left gave time to look at the castle and park
much more time than it needed....
The castle has seen better days. But at least it was free to look
around.
I wondered about a visit to the Agricultural Hotel, but I wasn't feeling
too great. Travel usually upsets me.
The station is just across the road from the castle
The memorial was erected for the Boer War
The station staff obsiously have time on their hands too. Tyan sheep, some
more local dialect and the Penrith
Weather forecasting stone. Ah's gan yam. And around five hours later I was
home.
