Tree carving, Pearson Park
A plaque records that Larkin lived in Carisbrooke at 32 Pearson Park
from 1956-74. He wrote most of his poems in the top floor flat. Grade II
listed

The arch to Pearson Park, in cast iron by Young & Wood of Hull,
1860. Grade II listed
The Dorchester. Linda's cousin Billy owned this at one time. He died
young.
The Rose Hotel, Beverley Rd
is opposite The Bull, also closed. This is now flats.
Former Stepney Station - on the lines to Hornsea & Withernsea
Possibly the last bomb site in England - apart from some churches.
Listed, and subject of a long campaign to
turn the former National Picture Theatre into a memorial garden.
Strand Close
Brunswick House built as a Higher Grade Board School in 1890
Beverley Rd
Former Gatepost for Kingston College built in 1836. In 1847 Trinity
House bought it for seamen's almshouses, then became a youth centre
