Both the wife and youngest daughter of Fayez Shahary, held in prison
in Israel, were at the protest
Aya sits in her buggy next to a picture of her with her father, still
in an Israeli prison
The protest was outside the Foreign & Commonwealth Office on Whitehall
as the British Governement
has done nothing to try and free this British father abducted and
tortured by Israel
after visiting his family in occupied Palestine for Ramadan
Sandra puts a Palestinian flag on a long pole for the protest
and another
and lifts them up
Fayez Sharary is a British citizen from the Palestinian diaspora who
has lived in the UK for over 23 years
Carol and Sandra hold the flagpole
Other protesters handed out leaflets
A line of posters give facts about how HP supports Israeli prisons
and military
other banners and poster show Palestinian women who are tortured and
imprisoned in Israel
The free Palestinian flags and a call to boycott Israel from Inminds,
who organised this protest
Laila Sharary
Aya Shahary is three. She was arrested with her mother and father
as they were coming home from visiting relatives
