Support for Harmondsworth Mass Hunger Strike

 In the corner behind the protesters are the kennels for the airport police dogs, who were apparently disturbed

 by the protest. Banging on the fence made a very satisfying noise

 

 

 

 

 

 

 and the drumming could be heard from a long way away
      
 

 
 
 

 

 

 

 

Banging on the fence made it resonate  

 On this west side of the prison it was just possible to see the top half of the top floor windows above the fence, though you
needed a very long lens. But there was a clearer view of the detainees waving back, and we heard phone calls from some of them
