	More Holiday Snaps Thirsk, Yorkshire. 23-30 Aug 2013
	We walked into Thirsk to do a little shopping past the Court House and the Town Hall The Holy Rood Centre has a second house next door to where we were staying, an 'Arts & Craft' building of around 1905 which houses a library and also has exhibitions
	We said goodbye to the goats and walked the mile or so to the station past what remains of Bamlett’s engineering firm, famous for producing agricultural machinery. It closed in 1985 and most of the site is now a Tesco.
