![]() ![]() The monks lived like hermits, each with his own rather spacious cell, but came together half a dozen times during day and night for worship ![]() ![]() ![]() Streams provided running water and constant flush lavatories ![]() part of the reconstructed monk's cell ![]() with a simple day room ![]() with a largish bedroom ![]() ![]() ![]() and on the upper floor a workroom - which woud be suitably equipped for whatever work the particular monk specialised in. |
