![]() This is Lock Bridge, built with stone from a lock abandoned when plans to make the Cod Beck into a canal ![]() ran out of cash. The lock was quite a way downstream from the bridge. ![]() Pudding Pie Hill is a tumulus which was excavated in 1855 ![]() Pack Horse Bridge - this was once an important trade route ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Upsall is a hamlet around 4 miies NE of Thirsk. This was a forge - the door is a horseshoe arch ![]() Disused Primitive Methodist chapel at Upsall, built 1887 ![]() ![]() |
