	More Holiday Snaps Thirsk, Yorkshire. 25 Aug 2013
	This is Lock Bridge, built with stone from a lock abandoned when plans to make the Cod Beck into a canal ran out of cash. The lock was quite a way downstream from the bridge. Pudding Pie Hill is a tumulus which was excavated in 1855 Pack Horse Bridge - this was once an important trade route Upsall is a hamlet around 4 miies NE of Thirsk. This was a forge - the door is a horseshoe arch Disused Primitive Methodist chapel at Upsall, built 1887
	the disused chapel a gate into part of Upsall castle Linda crosses a stream - the OS map says FB, but it lies and another stream with stepping stones
