	Waltham Forest Defeats the EDL Walthamstow, London. Sat 1 Sep 2012
	People from across the community of all ages had come out to block the EDL march Other people stood on the route to show their opposition There were a couple of hundred EDL, surrounded by police It was tricky to photograph them some made signs towards the camera others shouted and stared
	one man pushed between police to put his hand over my lens others threatened and pointed at me This looked rather like a Nazi salute, but I think she was trying to block the camera with her hand A man from Hull on his St George cross, 'Defender of England and Defenders of the Faith' with a Church of England symbol A woman in a Union Flag top A 'red beret' with paratroop wings on his sleeve and another man wearing a Swedish Defence League flag Not everyone was hostile. One man held his placard 'Everything God created Sharia Laws will Destory' for me to photograph when I asked him.
