March for a People's Olympics

 Some of the local kids joined in

 
    
  I ran back from Wennington Green when I heard someone had been arrested, arriving just as he was celebrating being told he was not being held. Allegedly he had cut the police tape around the march with scissors, and was stopped and searched, with marchers crowding around calling for his release
 
 

Afterwards he talked to several TV cameras  

and reported what had happened to the legal observers 

 

The march then continued the last couple of hundred yards to Wennington Green

Brian Richardson of Defend the Right to Protest speaking. I sat down and ate my lunch while
listening to him and the next few speakers, then had to leave while the rally was continuing.
