	Police occasionally tried to stop people chalking on the pavement, but largely ignored it Police talking to a man dressed as a sunflower and holding chalk and dinosaur Police and protester shout at each other Police try to prevent people holding up a banner to the hotel window
	The kettle starts with police wielding batons And asking for the protester's kettle to be put away as a safety risk! Inside the kettle Protesters were kettled outside the hotel where they wanted to protest. It was unclear what purpose if any the kettle had other than alienating the protesters. It really felt as if the police had no idea what to do, but felt that they had to do something to save face. I decided nothing further was likely to happen and went home.
