Ten Years On - Stop The War Coalition

Trafalgar Square & Downing St, London. Saturday 8 Oct 2011
 
 The march gets ready to start

 Hetty Bower, 106, leads the way

 and others follow down Whitehall

 

  A woman with 'Peace' on her forehead
 
At Downing St, many broke away from the march to protest at the gates of Downing St 

including a man who pretended to strangle 'Tony Blair' 

 

 

and a protester in an 'Anonymous' mask 

 

others protested in the middle of Whitehall 

eventually police tried to clear the street 

Syrians protested on the far pavement 

 

and there were more protests calling for Shaker Aamer to be set free/
