Pride Parade

Portland Place to Trafalgar Square, London. Saturday 2 July 2011
        
 Peter Tatchell with his Nick Griffin 'Queen of Fascism' poster, calling him a homophobe and saying 'No to BNP' at the head of the march

 As usual I had no idea who most of the celebreties at the head of the march were

 And march stewards tried hard to keep photographers away from them

 Crowds lined the streets, and I particularly liked this cat and (below) gay dog

 
 
Security lets us close to the celebreties for a second and I photograph Peter Tatchell with his poster and Ken Livingstone 

But the crowds watching are generally more interesting 
      
 

A sports car led the procession with this woman in it 

teachers and students from Notts
