Muslims Against Crusades Burn US Flag

US Embassy, Grosvenor Square, London. 11 Sept 2010

A Union Jack is added to the flames

the speeches continued as the flag burnt up

and something on the fire made some nasty-looking black smoke, which drifted up towards the embassy

at times obscuiing the eagle and flag at half mast on top of it.

The women were too far away on the edge of the crowd to see much of what was going on

although of course they could hear the speeches.

Police kept the EDL a good distance away, but the two groups could hear each other.
