	Manor Gardening Society - New Allotments Marsh Lane, Leyton. Sat 21 June, 2006        People have put a lot of effort into some plots with little return
	Stunted crops, turning yellow on many plots
	Though others are doing better
	Onions are dying down , the bulbs smaller than when the setts were planted
	These courgettes were doing extremely well
			And the beans were vigorous if a slightly odd green
			Valentine Low reads from his 'One Man and his Dig', about his experiences as a new allotment holder The eplacement Community room - the shed behind Valentine Low is small and lacking in facilities. The wide-angle lens makes it look rather larger than it really is
