Bring All the Troops Home NOWStop the War/CND Rally & March, Westminster, Oct 8, 2007
Suddenly I realised a policeman was dragging down a demonstrator near me |
![]() ![]() I didn't see any reason for this attack and he didn't seem to be struggling. He is one of Brian Haw's companions in his Parliament Square protest . |
![]() ![]() The other police nearby seemed to be worried that he might have been injured, but seemed to harass a march steward when she intervened |
![]() Fortunately he seemed to be unharmed |
Sorry that the pictures and
account of this incident are not clear - the situation was pretty confused. The light was also poor for photography, and all the reflective clothing makes flash a problem to work with. |
Shortly after I'd left police
forcibly removed protesters who were sitting on the roadway, and protesters
also pulled down the fencing around Parliament Square. |
