Enough is Enough! Support the Iraqi People

March from Altab Ali Park, Whitechapel to Bethnal Green, Sat Nov 27, 2004

Muslim women at the back of the march up Brick Lane

Leading the march were the 'Guantanamo detainees', roped together, hands tied behind their backs

Behind them was the Stop the War Coalition banner

By the time the march reached Bethnal Green it was dark

George Galloway and Lindsey German of 'Stop the War' took flowers to

leave at the door of local MP Oona King on Bethnal Green Road.

After a short ceremony including prayers, the flowers were left, the card on them reading:

"From the people of East London to the People of Iraq. We will always stand by you. Stop the War!"
